Virgin Galactic Has Made A New Spaceship - SpaceShipTwo Will Be The First Flight By The End Of 2015

(Reuters) - The hangar that housed Virgin Galactic's ill-fated SpaceShipTwo has an empty space, but at a manufacturing plant just down the road technicians on Wednesday were back at work putting together an identical sister ship.

Virgin Galactic company in October last year suffered a major accident, October 31 day SpaceShipTwo crashed in the Mojave Desert, in which a pilot was killed and another injured pilots. Again this year, Virgin Galactic SpaceShipTwo created an estimated flight at the end of this year, Professor George Whitesides, CEO, said construction of the new SpaceShipTwo is nearing completion and will soon be carried out test flights.

Lessons for a major accident in 2014, Virgin Galactic company learned of the accident experience, the new SpaceShipTwo has made use of newer technology. George Whitesides at the Space Symposium in Colorado held the annual reports, our team still did a great job, while undergoing a major accident, but the spacecraft has better security. Currently Virgin Galactic spacecraft yet to be named new might be called the Enterprise.

SpaceShipTwo suborbital spacecraft for Virgin Galactic company hopes it can achieve sub-orbital tourism, new construction, although this time the spacecraft for replacement aircraft that crashed, but the spacecraft's construction began in 2012, Virgin Galactic want to apply more advanced technology. Currently spacecraft has completed 75 percent, will conduct flight this year, but before the ground and flight tests will be conducted, the specific time is still not sure.

US National Transportation Safety Board report on the accident has not yet officially announced last year, the latest news tends to reveal failures caused by man, not a mechanical problem. The reason is that the co-pilot accidentally activated rear wing system, this time in the aircraft accelerated flight, a direct result of the aircraft disintegrated.

Virgin Galactic expects to build in the next 2-3 years commercial suborbital flight, the fare is $ 250,000, the first customer is Richard Branson and his family. All passengers on suborbital flight time experience to go through adaptive flight training, ensure that passengers can be physically and mentally fit suborbital flight.

SpaceShipTwo will carry six passengers and two pilots, each passenger has an own large windows offering views of the sub-orbital altitude. Carrier aircraft will be released at the height of 15,000 meters spaceship, and then start the engine of the spacecraft on the ignition, the final climb to 100 km altitude, the atmosphere here is the boundary line and space.
