Spartan Browser Eventually Changed Its Name To Microsoft Edge

Microsoft Edge is very stable, the amount of resources consumed and Google Chrome and other browsers do.

April 30, the United States on Wednesday, Microsoft played its Build 2015 developer announced that Microsoft Windows 10 operating system built a new web browser Project Spartan finally officially named Microsoft Edge browser.


Microsoft Edge will replace the IE browser, through this "chrome-free" thin section web browser, users can see only the pages and any other browser may slow page loading speed buttons and menus and so will no longer exist.

Earlier this year, after the release of the browser, then the browser has a number of media were tested, and it gives a very positive evaluation. Although Project Spartan was still a trial version of the software, but according to the evaluation, the browser is very stable, the number of resources used with Google Chrome and other browsers do.

Also worth mentioning is that, Edge browser is Microsoft's first direct integration with Cortana voice assistant web browser.
