If The Sun Suddenly Disappeared, What Will The Earth Happen?

Mass of the sun is about 33.3 times the Earth, the energy equivalent to the energy produced by 1 per one hundred billion hydrogen bomb explosion. The huge mass of the sun that it dominates the gravitation in the solar system, eight stars, which is locked in an elliptical orbit. If the sun disappeared the next second, then what happens to it? This may seem a silly question in fact Einstein was once considered an important issue.

Gravitation: When the sun disappears, because the light is propagated to Earth takes about eight minutes, so the sun disappeared within eight minutes we still be able to see the sun in the sky. Because of the speed and the speed of light rather gravitation, so before disaster struck eight minutes we still have time.

Eternal Darkness: We will not be in complete darkness. Universe, stars still shine, electrical earth still exist, so long as there is energy city would not be complete darkness. Even the other planets of the solar system in a short time is still visible. When the sun disappeared eight minutes later, photosynthesis will be completely stopped. Most small plants will die in a few days. We need to worry about most is that the Earth's surface temperature, the average temperature will be reduced to 0℃ in a week, after a year down to -100℃. Earth's oceans will become increasingly cold, eventually freezes, let the earth become a frozen planet.

Part of life on Earth would survive for billions of years: life on Earth will encounter a dark and lonely, but we can not understand in this case whether humans can survive for a long time. Living in the vicinity of the Earth's oceans crater animals will continue to survive for billions of years. This is because their life is not dependent on the sun.

What will happen: now the Earth at a rate of 30 kilometers per second around the sun. If the sun disappears, its gravity will disappear, but the Earth's speed will remain unchanged. Earth will be the center point away from the sun to keep flying straight, lost in the endless cold universe.
